Welcome to the Mourne, Gullion and Lecale Rural Development Partnership’s interactive website. The key purpose of this site is to provide you with information about priority 6 of the Northern Ireland Rural Development Programme 2014 – 2020.

This partnership has been designed to address the rural needs of the population of Newry, Mourne and Down District Council area, to reduce social isolation and improve the quality of life of our rural dwellers.

The Northern Ireland Rural Development Programme is part financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and is managed by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.

The Rural Development Programme is an excellent opportunity for our rural communities and enterprises to diversify, expand and improve and we would encourage anyone in the Region with a potential project idea to contact us.
